Fourth Special Weather Statement Issued in as Many Days

Yet another special weather statement has been issued for the region as thunderstorms are in the forecast for this afternoon.

Environment Canada says hail remains to be a top concern as parts of Renfrew and Hastings counties received heavy hail this week.

Winds are expected to gust up to 70 kilometres per hour heading into this afternoon and this evening in some areas.

Barry’s Bay, Killaloe, Petawawa, Pembroke, Cobden, Renfrew, Arnprior and Calabogie are among the areas affected.
