Police Sharing Tips on How to Keep Bears off Your Property

Our local OPP is reminding you to take the right steps to avoid black bear showing up on your property.

That’s because black bears could be looking for food at this time of year, which they might find in your garbage or bird feeders.

Constable Lisa Robson says there are steps you can take to keep these bears away.

You can also report bears to your local police or the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry.
