The Renfrew OPP is reminding you to lock your vehicle’s doors to avoid theft.
That’s because officers are still getting complaints about theft from unlocked vehicles across the Ottawa Valley.
Over the weekend, police were called when a necklace, cash, and a purse were stolen from a car in Renfrew. Anyone with information about this case is being asked to call Renfrew OPP or Crime Stoppers.
Police say these types of crimes are easily preventable, just lock your doors and take any valuables out of your vehicle if it’s going to be unattended.
