A new fundraiser is bringing an autumn-inspired food and art experience to Killaloe.
Eat Your Art Out is the first gala hosted by the Ottawa Valley Creative Arts Open Studio. The studio has been operating out of Killaloe for four years and offers workshops around the valley. The community arts group’s goal is to inspire creativity by offering free workshops in a variety of mediums.
Artistic Director Andy Trull says everything from the music to the six-course meal will follow the theme, the Story of November.
The event is happening at the Killaloe and Area Lions Club hall Saturday at 6:30pm. Tickets are available at businesses across the valley, including at the South of 60 Arts Centre/Railway Station in Barry’s Bay. A free community dance is also going on afterwards at 9:30pm.
