Yakabuski Highlighting Importance of Weighing in on Proposed Hydro Rate Increase

Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski says he’s surprised by Hydro One’s request to increase rates.

Hydro One recently applied to the Ontario Energy Board to increase its delivery charges.

Yakabuski says this comes on the heels of the province giving up a majority stake in the company.

He says he’s surprised the company is looking for public feedback and is hoping enough backlash will convince the energy board not to grant the request.
