Fall back, change detector batteries this weekend

The Bonnechere Valley Fire Department is reminding you to change your detector batteries when you fall back this weekend.

The clocks go back one hour as Daylight Savings Time ends Sunday at 2:00am.  The department says it’s the time to also change the batteries in your carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.  It says replacing the batteries takes only a few minutes, but can save your life.
