Madawaska Valley’s Operations Department is waiving tipping fees for the Bark Lake waste site for anyone getting rid of flood damaged or water logged items.
The township is extending the free drop offs as many are still conducting flood clean-up.
You can bring in anything you want to dispose of due to flooding this weekend to the site during regular hours.
Operations Manager Hilary Kutchkoskie says to bring ID and allow staff to inspect anything being brought in.
