The OPP is focusing on working with communities and governments during Crime Prevention Week.
The week is happening across the province, including in the Ottawa Valley, from November 1st to 7th. The OPP East Region says it’s about sharing strategies with the public so that crimes can be prevented.
This year’s theme is Working Together to Improve Community Safety and Well-Being – A Shared Commitment in Ontario. Police are working to address problems, develop plans and reduce crime across the province.
