The Madawaska Valley Association for Community Living says it’s pleased with the attendance at the first Day of Inclusion in Barry’s Bay.

MVACL collaborated with Access Work Service and Tyerman and Daughters Inc. Rural Outreach Employment Services to host the Employment First – the Key to Social Inclusion day last week.

Community Participation Supports Manager Monica Prymack says the organization is pleased with the overall turnout of the day, including for the business owners’ breakfast.

She says the organizations are meeting to discuss next steps. Prymack says any events similar to the afternoon agency presentations will have to be at a larger venue, since Activities+ was at capacity. For more on the Day of Inclusion, click here.
