Frost advisory issued in Madawaska Valley

Because of a forecasted drop in temperature tonight, Environment Canada has issued a frost advisory for the Madawaska Valley area.

It extends into Barry’s Bay, Killaloe, Petawawa, Pembroke, Cobden, Renfrew, Arnprior, and Calabogie.

The weather agency says tonight’s clear skies and light winds will cause colder temperatures around the freezing mark, which could cause widespread frost to develop.

If you have frost-sensitive plants and trees, you are being encouraged to take preventative measures.
