Canadian Blood Services needs to collect 72 units of blood during today’s clinic in Bancroft.
That’s according to Territory Manager Debbi Barfoot, who says there is always a need for blood of every type.
Barfoot says there was not enough blood collected in Bancroft last year.

It comes as Canadian Blood Services says it will no longer be making stops in Barry’s Bay or Killaloe for its donation clinics.
Drop-ins are always welcome at today’s blood donation clinic at the Bancroft Legion, which runs from 1:30pm to 6:30pm.
