A special weather statement has been issued for the Barry’s Bay area, calling for more rain later this week.

Environment Canada says parts of Eastern Ontario could be in store for another 50 millimetres of rain starting Friday morning.

This could cause more localized flooding.

The statement is in effect for Barry’s Bay, Killaloe, Petawawa, Pembroke, Cobden, Renfrew, Arnprior, and Calabogie.
