The MNRF says it’s concerned the amount of rain the area has, and will receive as it may bring water levels back up on some bodies of water.

Another freshet report is expected from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry on water levels later today with observations on the Madawaska and Bonnechere rivers.

The ministry says even though water levels on Lake Clear along with Round, Kamaniskeg and Golden lakes are down, it will be watching it closely alongside RPG and OPG sites.

Overall throughout Renfrew County water levels are down significantly according to the MNRF and it reports the the surface melt is over in much of the region.
