Rainfall Warning Issued Calling for More Heavy Rain and Thunderstorms

A rainfall warning is now in effect from Environment Canada calling for possible thunderstorms with another 25 millimetres of rain in the forecast.

Drivers should expect slick conditions and possible complications due to pre-existing flooding on some roads from the spring melt.

Environment Canada is warning flash flooding could be possible in lower lying areas where more rainfall is expected.

Algonquin, Bancroft – Bon Echo and Renfrew – Pembroke – Barry’s Bay are all under the warning.
