Fire Department Conducting Controlled Burn Near Bark Lake

The Madawaska Valley Fire Department says there’s no need to alarmed if you see heavy smoke coming from Bark Lake.

If you live near Skeeds Road fire crews will be moving through the area for the next week or so according to our fire chief.

Corwin Quade says it’s part of a controlled burn in the area.
