Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued

Thunderstorm watches and warnings have been issued across the region.

Tonight’s forecast is calling for strong winds, possible large hail and heavy rain in the region.

Environment Canada says fast-moving water can cause hazards on our roadways.

If you do come across intense thunderstorms tonight you’re being asked to take cover.

The watch covers areas such as Barry’s Bay, Killaloe, Petawawa, Pembroke, Cobden, Renfrew, Arnprior and Calabogie.

The warning includes Algonquin, Whitney, Lake of Two Rivers, Bancroft, Hastings Highlands, Denbigh, Kaladar, Bannockburn and Bon Echo Park.
