National Volunteer Week Begins April 23rd

The Township of Madawaska Valley is joining other municipalities in recognizing National Volunteer Week.

Council highlighted the critical role volunteers play on the township’s standing committees, their contributions to discussion and the fact they are granted voting rights on recommendations.

It’s part of a country-wide effort to publicly recognize and honour volunteers who donate their time and energy to serving their communities.

National Volunteer Week runs from April 23^rd to the 29^th.
