Algonquin Park says its spring opening will be delayed this year.
Ontario parks says that includes all campsites, ranger cabins, portages and access points.
Most of the park’s areas are still not able to be accessed due to heavy snow cover and the potential of cover remaining on its lakes over the next few weeks.

Ontario Parks says it will be contacting anyone who placed reservations before April 28th directly to issue refunds.
