Students in the region could start getting suspended from school if their vaccination records aren’t up-to-date.
That’s the message from local health units in Renfrew and Hastings counties as they are sending suspension orders starting this week.
Families that get the letters need to call the health unit to update their children’s vaccination records.
Hastings and Prince Edward Public Health is giving students in North Hastings until April 21st to update their immunization records or face suspensions.

Two vaccination clinics will also be held in Bancroft next week.
A clinic is also in Petawawa today and Barry’s Bay next week.
