No progress report cards for RCDSB elementary schools

Elementary students in the Renfrew County District School Board won’t be getting progress report cards this term.

In an online letter from Director of Education Roger Clarke, it says that the board has been told by the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario that teachers won’t be preparing, completing or packaging the reports.  The board says it’s one of many across the province where this is the case.

Progress reports are used to track student progress in subjects and learning skills this far in the year.  If there are concerns over a student’s progress, their parent or guardian will be asked to come to an interview day at their school on November 13th.
