Hastings Highlands residents might see an increase to their municipal taxes this year.
That’s according to the municipality’s draft 2017 budget, presented to council by Treasurer David Stewart.
Stewart says there could be a 1.65 per cent increase to municipal taxes in 2017.
Stewart says the municipality’s 2017 operating budget is expected to be over $8.7-million.
A public budget meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 8th, at the Hastings Highlands Centre.
