The Madawaska Valley Lion’s Club is again teaming up with Canadian Blood Services for March’s blood drive.
It may be harder for Canadian Blood Services to collect donations with new guidelines which affect female donors.
Those new guidelines state female donors must now wait 12 weeks as opposed to the previous eight between donations.

The new changes came into effect in December and were introduced based on concerns over the amount of hemoglobin and iron in blood.
The next clinic is set for Thursday, March 2nd at the Paul J. Yakabuski Community Centre in Barry’s Bay.
