Renfrew and neighbouring counties are under a special weather statement calling for heavy snow and freezing rain tomorrow.

The forecast says snow will begin tomorrow morning and turn into freezing rain by evening.

Environment Canada says the weather system could be unpredictable and will have a clearer picture of the forecast as the low-pressure front enters the area.

The statement is in effect across Renfrew County which includes Barry’s Bay, Petawawa, Renfrew, Calabogie, Killaloe, Cobden, Pembroke and Arnprior.
