Provincial ministers helped to wrap up the final day of ROMA’s annual conference in Toronto.

Municipal and provincial leaders along with other delegates attended the three-day conference to discuss everything from rural energy costs to legislative updates.

Both ministers of municipal affairs, Bill Mauro and agriculture Jeff Leal and the President of AMO, Lyn Dollin spoke to delegates at the event yesterday.

Rural economic development finished off the talks yesterday, addressing the increased responsibilities downloaded onto rural municipalities and investment.

ROMA’s Zone 6 chair position was also filled as Addington and Lennox County Councillor Ric Bresee was voted in to the seat.
