The St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation has surpassed its fundraising goal from its holiday campaign, the Tree of Lights.
Executive director of the foundation, Toni Lavigne-Conway says the campaign raised about $57,000.
The original target set for the hospital’s tub-room renovations was set for $50,000.
The lighting ceremony is held at the beginning of December at the Barry’s Bay Railway Station to ring in the Christmas season.
Lavigne-Conway says none of it would be possible without the foundation’s partners, volunteers or the support of the community.
