Municipal leaders from across eastern Ontario will be convening in Toronto for day two of the 2017 ROMA Conference.
A vote is being held today to select the ROMA board’s Zone 6 vacancy.
Zone six represents rural municipalities in Renfrew, Hastings, Prince Edward, Frontenac as-well-as Lennox and Addington counties.
The candidates for the position are Councillor Ric Bresee from Lennox and Addington County, Mayor Jim Gibson of Head, Clara and Maria and Councillor Michael Fuerth from the Township of Wollaston.
