Combermere Recreation Committee Looking to Add Members

The Township of Madawaska Valley is putting out the word to fill the ranks of Combermere’s Recreation Committee.

The committee oversees some of the biggest summer events in the area, including Mayflower Beaches’ C-O Blitz.

Community Development Coordinator Paul Nopper says the role of the committee will be bigger than ever with the nation’s 150th celebration upon us in 2017.

It comes as the township is preparing to strike a steering committee for the anniversary goal of 150 events in the Madawaska Valley.
