Our local OPP is warning drivers the conditions are right for black ice on your morning commute today.
Many areas were pummelled with 10 to 15 centimetres of snow overnight followed by rain early this morning, following multiple snowfall warnings and winter travel advisories issued by Environment Canada yesterday.
While the warnings were lifted early this morning there is still a mix of snow and rain in many forecasts across Renfrew and Hastings counties.
Police are urging drivers to keep safety in mind and always drive according to weather and road conditions.
