Lakeshore and Bay Street Intersection Closed due to Possible Water Main Break

Madawaska Valley’s Operations Supervisor Mike Phillips says a water main break is behind the drop in water pressure or loss of water for some residents in Barry’s Bay.

He says Public Works is tending to the site located at the intersection of Bay Street and Lakeshore Drive.

The area is now only open to local traffic, drivers should expect ice on the road as crews are working in the area.

Phillips says the road will be closed for the day as repairs are made.
