Students invited to work with police this summer

The Renfrew OPP is looking to hire students as Marine Assistants this summer.

Police say the position will give them hands-on experience in law enforcement, by letting them work with an OPP marine operator on a police boat.

Interested students have to be at least 18 years old, have a valid G2 and boating licence, be trained in CPR and First Aid, and be able to swim 300kms without stopping. They also need to pass an OPP background check.
