Crime Stoppers recognizes its impact during January

January marks Crime Stoppers Month, which recognizes the impact the program has had on fighting crime.

Since Renfrew County Crime Stoppers was started in 1989, it has helped arrest almost 600 people, and solve over 1,100 cases. Almost $1-million in stolen property has been found, and over $12-million in illegal drugs have been seized.

Crime Stoppers is reminding you that you can call them anonymously to report crimes and make Ontario a safer place.
