Snowfall and Freezing Rain Warnings Ended for Renfrew County

Environment Canada’s snowfall warning has ended for Renfrew County but roads may still be slippery this morning.

Yesterday’s freezing rain warning was expected to end early in the afternoon but was instead followed by a snowfall warning as some areas received up to 20 centimetres of snow.

The MTO’s early morning observations show highways 60, 62 and 17 remain snow covered in many areas.

The Killaloe OPP is asking drivers to always drive according to road conditions as downed trees were tended to overnight in areas like Cobden and Golden Lake.
