The Township of Madawaska Valley’s first council meeting of 2017 has been rescheduled to 2016.
Budget time is rapidly approaching for the municipality and many department heads have already begun preliminary work.
The only committee meeting slated for the month of January falls under development and property.
Holiday hours are also still in effect for the township until the new year, if residents are looking to use municipal services.
The municipal offices will remain closed until January 3rd upon which, normal hours are resumed.
Landfills in the area are also subject to holiday hours with information available on the Wilno, Bark Lake and Combermere sites available in PDF format on the township’s website.
Holiday hours for public skating, pick-up hockey hours and curbside pick-ups are also available.
