A Peterborough man is facing sexual assault charges dating back to 1983.
The Renfrew County OPP says the victim in the case contacted police in 2015, about an incident that happened when he was 15 years old at a hunt camp in South Algonquin Township, just west of Barry’s Bay.
A 73-year-old man has now been charged with attempted sexual assault and administering a substance to cause harm.

He is expected to appear in Killaloe Court on January 11th.
