Extreme weather in on the way tonight for the Madawaska Valley and much of southern and eastern Ontario.
A snowfall warning was posted this morning to accompany both the weather watches calling for 15-20 centimetres of snow this evening and possible freezing rain on Saturday.
Environment Canada says the snow is expected to move in tonight, continuing into Saturday when it could possibly turn to freezing rain on Saturday night.

OPP Constable Catharine Yarmel says if you are planning on driving to adjust your speed to road conditions, especially if they’re worsening.
Yarmel says to always have your headlights fully turned so your rear lights are illuminated, which will increase visibility.
