Municipal budget time is on the horizon for the Madawaska Valley.
Yesterday’s Finance and Administration Committee began preliminary discussion on where the township is at in terms of the 2016 fiscal year.
Financial reports from the township’s treasurer and deputy clerk were reviewed by the committee alongside the township’s operation’s manager.

So far, in the areas of budget transfers and tax reductions the township has done a solid job of managing costs.
