The Township of Madawaska Valley is holding a public meeting tonight to finalize ideas for Canada’s 150th anniversary.
Recreation and Community Development Coordinator Paul Nopper says invites have been extended to local community groups and organizations in the area.
He says the meeting is to take all of the ideas generated from October’s open house and put them into motion.

Over 60 ideas from residents have been compiled by the township’s recreation committee for the 2017.
The meeting is tonight at the Barry’s Bay Municipal Hall at 7:00pm.
