The Killaloe OPP will be doubling up on holiday enforcement as part of the Leave the Phone Alone campaign.
Renfrew County launched the campaign alongside the MTO and local police forces this fall.
From December 4th to the 11th the OPP will be targeting distracted driving in focused patrols specifically designed to nab those behind the wheel while on their phones.

The campaign is also tackling the dangers of distracted driving in our schools, having already made a stop at MVDHS in Barry’s Bay last month.
The OPP’s Festive RIDE programs will also be out in full-force during the campaign.
