Madawaska Valley celebrating Ontario Library Week

It’s Ontario Library Week in the Madawaska Valley.

The week is happening across the province from October 18th to 24th.  It encourages communities to re-discover the wide range of services offered at their libraries.  Township Mayor Kim Love says the Madawaska Valley Public Library is an essential part of our community.

The library in Barry’s Bay is celebrating the week by waiving fines in exchange for non-perishable food donations to the Madawaska Valley Food Bank.
