The Madawaska Valley and much of eastern Ontario remains under a snowfall warning today.

Environment Canada forecasts are calling for another 10 to 15 centimetres of snow over the next 24 hours.

As a result all school busses have been cancelled in Renfrew County.

The OPP says it has received an influx of calls involving vehicles sliding into ditches and is advising drivers to not take to the roads unless completely necessary.

High winds are making driving conditions even worse with gusts of up to 60 kilometres per hour and blowing snow causing severe visibility issues.
