A Madawaska Valley man has been recognized with an Ontario Senior Achievement Award.
The awards recognize men and women over the age of 65 who have made outstanding contributions to their communities through volunteering and professional activities.
Robert Ogilvie of the Madawaksa Valley is one of the recipients of the 2016 awards, for being a founding member of the Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care program.

The awards were handed out yesterday at a ceremony at Queen’s Park.
