Routine Stop Leads to Gun and Drugs Charges, Police Advocating Proper Firearm Safety

Our local OPP is reminding residents firearms must always be stored properly when transported and proper licensing must always be carried.

The OPP says one of its officers made a routine traffic stop which led to the seizure of a gun and marijuana.

A 28-year-old Pembroke man and a 27-year-old Killaloe, Hagarty and Richards woman have both been charged with possession of drugs and a firearm.
