It’s a big compliment for eastern Ontario as Expedia has ranked the friendliest communities in Canada.
Expedia says the list is based on user ratings from 2015, with Golden Lake, Bancroft and Minden all making appearances on the list.
Bancroft Mayor Bernice Jenkins says it is an honour for the town to be recognized.
