A North Hastings resident is joining the race to be the next MPP for the area.

Former Acting Chief of the Hastings Quinte Paramedic Services John O’Donnell announced he will be running for the nomination for the PC Party for the Hastings-Lennox and Addington riding.

In July, O’Donnell retired after spending 40-years as a paramedic.

He now joins Bancroft Councillor Tracy McGibbon and former Prince Edward-Hastings MP Darryl Kramp in the race for the nomination.

PC members can vote for who they’d like to have run for MPP in Tweed on November 26th.
