A special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada for Renfrew County.
The forecast calls for our first significant snowfall, with anywhere from two to five centimetres expected today and into tonight.
Environment Canada says some areas may get as much as 10 centimetres.

Warmer temperatures and rain are expected to prevail moving into tomorrow and the weekend with a high seven degrees on the forecast.
Drivers should be prepared for winter road conditions.
