Today’s Development and Property Committee will be seeing a presentation for Madawaska Valley’s Age Friendly Community Plan.
The draft handles everything from methodology, health care, community needs, recreation and transportation.
Contributors to the drafted plan include members of the local hospital, public library, various senior’s clubs and local home support.

Also on the docket for today’s committee meeting is the possible creation of a portage between Blackfish Bay and Green Lake.
The meeting convenes at 9:00am at the township hall in Barry’s Bay.
