Sean Conway will stop by South Algonquin Public Library this month for a special author talk.
The library says Conway’s talk will celebrate local history and small town hockey.
The author will speak about Home Ice, his book about the Madawaska Valley District High School hockey team from 1967–1972.

Looking beyond the game to the players, families and community around the team, the library says the book captures a memorable period in Madawaska Valley history.
The author talk, scheduled for Sept. 26 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Madawaksa Hall, is part of Ontario Culture Days and is open to everyone. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
