Starting tomorrow, you will need a $25 permit to put signs up in the municipality of Hastings Highlands.
Those without a permit need to have their signs removed by tomorrow.
A sign bylaw was introduced in May, with Mayor Vivian Bloom saying it would address concerns about sign pollution in Hastings Highlands.
The new bylaw is expected to mean less signs are put up randomly, and mean local businesses are the ones advertising legally.
Bloom says, after tomorrow, the municipality will start taking signs down.
