Events are happening around Barry’s Bay today part of a day of inclusion.

Employment First – the Key to Social Inclusion is being hosted by the Madawaska Valley Association for Community Living, Access Work Service and Tyerman and Daughters Inc.  Rural Outreach Employment Services.  The goal is to bring employers, job hunters, services and the community together to start a conversation on the importance of hiring workers with disabilities.

The day includes a free business owners’ breakfast at the Opeongo Seniors Centre, afternoon presentations by agencies at Activities+ and An Evening of Inspiration at the seniors centre in the evening.
