Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP Billy Denault has issued a statement on the current water levels status.
The Ministry of Natural Resources issued statements this week for potential flooding in the region, with the Ontario flood map showing parts of Renfrew County under a flood warning as of Friday evening.
Denault says his office is watching water levels closely and has been connecting with local stakeholders to ensure timely information is being shared.

He adds the office has been in touch with Ontario Power Generation and the MNR Pembroke office, as well as local mayors and municipal leaders.
He says residents can access water level information and forecasts at ottawariver.ca, or from Ontario Power Generation for the Madawaska River.
